🧵 Fiskars 97047397J Beginner Sewing Scissors - 7-Inches: Ideal for Novice Sewers! Review

My granddaughter and I made her first dress. These scissors are easy to hold and very sharp. I can use them too, but even though I have small hands, I'm still an adult size. Not recommended for normal sized adult hands. Highly recommended for teens and teens.

These scissors fit me perfectly. My sewing beginners (6 and 9 years old) can easily cut fabric with it, even with their small hands. This especially helped my 6 year old not to "chop" the fabric. None of them could cut my "adult" Fiskars well.

My 7 year old daughter loves to sew and these are perfect for her first tools! She is very small but these scissors are great for cutting fabrics from fleece to denim, quilting cotton and tulle. I believe that when learning the craft, children should have proper tools, but at an appropriate scale and with safety equipment where possible.
