This worked fine for me. What is the problem?

Look, it's designed for thicker paper and multiple layers. If you're having trouble, you're using it incorrectly. Made about 20 price tags out of it the other day. Each one came out right because I used this thick cardboard to make the labels. So what's the problem? I think you can safely ignore the negative reviews. AND KEEP THIS THING AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND LOCK IT WHEN NOT IN USE!

Pros
  • Size: 2 inch
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Not what I expected

Fischer 2 inch hole punch severely disappointed. I bought this to cut out 2 inch round photos from photo paper for a birthday project. The perforator worked well, in the 5th photo it started to fail. The puncher did not clean the 2 inch punch but repeatedly rubbed the edges which required manual photo cropping. In order not to damage the photos, I cut them out by hand. Damn. It might work with carbon paper, but my project didn't use carbon paper. I cannot recommend this kick to serious projectโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hole Punch Recycled materials found around the house such as aluminum cans, milk jugs, cereal boxes, newspapers, magazines, postcards, junk mail and more

Don't waste your money

Updated to add: I've tried it on cardboard and it works great so I think it does what it says BUT the specs should include some THICKNESS MEASUREMENTS of what it would not be cut/won and/or are best suited in place of examples of materials that can have any thickness. Also, cutting 1/8 inch to the edge of the material is still too close. Original Review: I bought this to cut TerraSlate 7mil paper, which I know very well isn't as thick as the cork wood it's supposed to cut. I chose this variantโ€ฆ
