Very happy with this purchase.

I love these pink scissors. A while back I bought what I thought was good from a local store. I have severe arthritis in my hands and fingers. These scissors were very heavy and injured my hands and fingers. They wouldn't cut anything. Not a single layer of cotton. I tried everything to get her to cut but I never did. I decided to take a chance and buy another pair as I use a good piece of cotton to make quilts. This time I choose the right pair. They are soft on my hands and fingers. They are…

The tip of the scissors will not pierce the fabric.

I was very excited to get them, I went to Joanne Fabrics for a pair and they want £40 for the cheapest Fiskars scissors (they only had 3 to choose from), they looked no different than the 40 you had less than half of them with Joanna. So I decided to buy Revain, maybe I shouldn't have. I got out some test fabric nothing crazy just a few scraps of thick quarters I had from a previous project, the back of the scissors worked fine then I got to the last inch. or so they absolutely don't cut any…

Do Not Buy, Read 1 Star Reviews First

I am very disappointed in this product. I hesitate to buy Fiskars brand products. I bought a trimming wheel and rose scissors and was disappointed with both products. The scissors I bought from Revain are very difficult to cut. They don't open or close at all and don't cut through fabrics as easily. If you have hand/finger problems, do not purchase this product. You cannot use them. I thought that over time the loop would soften a bit and it would be more comfortable to use the scissors, but…

Instead of

These splitting shears are designed for tough use. and please be very careful when using it. This is NOT a children's toy. I bought these to cut up old jeans that I use to make "rag rugs". Denim wears a lot when cut with regular fabric scissors. Pink is the answer I was looking for. For a while I was at a loss as to how to reduce or eliminate the wear problem. then I happened to think of my dear old mother. and I could see her with my old, badly worn polishing scissors, which I thought stupid…

Good quality, well made scissors. Very impressed with that.

I read a selection of all reviews from one to five stars. Many reviewers commented that the scissors are stiff. They are a little tight when you first open them, but I just kept opening and closing them and it worked on its own, but a bit of oil will solve that problem too, just make sure you use it well dry so you don't stain fabric. I would cut off a piece of exercise cloth first to make sure the oil doesn't stain. These are high quality scissors. Very impressive. The blades are sharp and cut
