I really like these. I like the divider the best. Instead of using a knife to cut a chicken into a bite, I use them. Since they are disassembled I can be sure of how well they can be cleaned. The only downside is that one side doesn't have a sharp point. I think it would be better if both ends had sharp ends, although there must be a reason for this design.

They've had "Fallen A Part" five times when I didn't want it. I didn't expect her. A part falls out and gravity does the rest. And I freak out and make a noise like a little girl in great fear that I "MIGHT" need stitches in my leg. I haven't had an accident. I like my fingers and they were never little stinkers. I washed and dried them "very thoroughly" because the working edges are very sharp.

I've had a pair for a year or two and the built in sharpener broke - maybe too much pressure, maybe a design flaw. I have others like these and they still work great. I was sad that I couldn't find more locally so I ordered a pair online. The belt ripper is very useful, but only for the belt. If you use it on plastic bags or tape, chances are you'll bend it. These are some precision scissors that work so well you won't like other scissors.

Why buy more expensive imitations from Bed Bath & Beyond at this price point? Forget them and the cheapness of dollar storage, which in many publications you only throw in the trash when they break or become unusable after Christmas morning. This and all Fiskars are deadly sharp all over the blade (rarely), and you can keep it sharp for a lifetime because it's so easy to disassemble and sharpen. I have two of these proven Fiskars. I use one in the kitchen to replace a cheap "gift" set of knives

I've had these for a month or two now and use them a lot for opening boxes and cutting cardboard (just moved). The little tape cut piece is just plastic and doesn't cut very easily; I've found that you have to poke it through the tape and push it forward, but when you get to a thicker area it won't go through.
