00 to get it back plus time and frustration makes it all a flop and its not worth it

Description states that the remote control works for 2006-2011 Honda Civic LX. I have a 2009 LH. When I went online to the website that came with the dongle for programming instructions, it said it required special hardware, but there were no programming instructions. Now I had to send it back. $20 minus $7 return plus time and frustration makes it all a flop and it's not worth it.

These buttons work! Best in Anti-Theft

The good news is that these keys can be programmed (apparently a problem with some orders from unscrupulous sellers) and they work. Before you buy them, you need to see if there's someone in your area willing to carve keys (ask if they can carve Sidewinder keys), and then you need to find someone willing to carve them program. sometimes it can be done in one place. I took mine to my local Honda dealer to program, they charged $65 to program both keys (same price for 1 or 2 keys), plus it cost…

Worked great on a 2009 Civic Hybrid!

Honda dealer was able to cut and program both keys. $110 for programming and $10 for each key on my son's 2009 Civic Hybrid. The trunk unlock function doesn't seem to work but locks, unlocks the doors and both keys start the ignition.

Great for 2009 Honda Civic LX

Perfect replacement for my 2009 Honda Civic LX. Took it to my local Ace gear and they successfully cut and programmed the key. The Revain key itself cost me $15, $2 to cut and $40 to program. All in all cheaper than at the dealer and works exactly like my original Honda key. Best $57 I've ever spent.

Fragile garbage. suitable for interior decoration

Super fragile! Not worth the money at all. My wife lost our dealer key so I had to hire a locksmith to program this cheap key. The plastic case broke after a few months of use. Now stick it together with Krazy Glue and masking tape. I absolutely regret this purchase. It's like cheap, brittle, 3D printed plastic or something. Very fragile. Save here and buy a dealer key. This lasts much longer and will save you money in the long run.
