Worked as a replacement power supply for a Crosley turntable (Dansette model)

Output power varies widely

I bought this cable to replace a broken one for my computer monitor, but after installing it my monitor would turn off every few seconds. At first I was worried it was the monitor but when I plugged in my voltmeter it showed the output jumping from 12v to 10v to 3v and back to 12v every few seconds. This can work for small things, but don't buy this for other electronics

Five Star branded cables This purchase

Previous purchases included a light on top of the power supply. Customer service said they had shipped me another power adapter in the past and they are not five stars even though I ordered this. They work well, but when I'm having trouble with cameras around the house I do notice flickering with older power supplies, so the light is useful for troubleshooting.
