Good quality, amazing A's but bloody awful size. Normal somba is 1/2 size bigger for me. they look even bigger. Be prepared to return them for a smaller size. I would say a life size "American" is smaller than a typical stowaway.

I bought them on a friend's recommendation. I'm primarily a commuter/city driver. I wanted something that would "stick" to the pedals. Didn't want to "lock me up" because I travel a lot without my bike. They are somewhat flexible and don't look bad. Fits well.

I bought these shoes for my son so he doesn't have to ride his bike in the running shoes. They fit as expected. They hold up well on platform pedals with pins. Easy to get on and off the pedals. You don't have to worry about shots slipping. They don't flex a lot, so they increase pedaling efficiency.

Started gravel riding and bought a pair of these to match the Chester pedals. It's sticky with the combination. However, sometimes I wish I could go without clips so my feet are always in the same place. I have wide feet so I went 0.5 sizes up but still wish they were a bit wider. The shoes are hard and sometimes rub the ankle. But overall a good buy.

These shoes are amazing. I didn't think they would hold my MTB pedals so well. They grip the anti-slip pins perfectly and my feet stay on the pedals without slipping. The shoes are also comfortable and I can wear them like regular shoes all day if I want to. I would recommend them to any mountain biker looking for extra grip when going downhill. They also have an attractive design.

Suede in a cycling shoe? I would give them 5 stars for walking shoes but bike shoes get dirty and the suede cannot be washed. The description clearly states that they are suede and I bought them anyway but really thought they would look like an imitation or somehow need to be cleaned. Guilty. I am keeping the shoes as they are very comfortable, look great and even provide arch support. Perfect for hiking but I need cycling shoes that get dirty and can be cleaned.

These are great mountain bike boots for the casual rider who wants Five Ten soles with a casual shoe style and feel. I originally bought the Five Ten Freeriders but thought they looked and felt like I was wearing boots. I have them and can say they have the same grip but look and feel like regular shoes.
