These are great winter boots for kids who don't like real boots touching their calves. They look great too, he wears them to school every day. They don't look slim at all, but they're a little tight on him. I wish they were a little wider.

My son refused to wear boots to school all day (although not the most comfortable for criss-crossing applesauce) this is a great solution. More of a hybrid between snowshoes and running shoes, they give your child the flexibility and comfort of a running shoe and the warmth and protection of a boot. I'm so glad I stumbled across these as they are the perfect solution for my son from gym class to outdoor breaks and in between (most of the day) in the classroom.

I originally bought a pair to try on because my child doesn't like to lose/forget things like boots. He liked them so much that they became his everyday winter shoes, and then his spring and summer shoes. He abused her and they moved on.
