Fixodent Ultra Hold Dental Adhesive Review

I tried to use it 30 minutes ago. Once I open my mouth, I CAN'T REMOVE THE RESIDUES FROM MY MOUTH! I'VE WIPED AND WASHED AND WIPED AND I STILL HAVE IN MY CHEEKS, BETWEEN THE UPPER CHAMBER AND UPPER LIP, ON THE SIDES OF MY TONGUE AND BELOW SO I HAVE BADLY OPENING MY MOUTH. I also had trouble just squeezing it out of the tube. I am 80 years old and have a weak grip due to arthritis but have had no problems with other brands. If you have dentures, you know you just didn't put them in and forgot about them. My bottoms have to be "re-glued" several times a day. This product really does last longer. I still have to "repaste" it, but not as often. At least I can get through most of a 10 hour day with just 1 or 2 "re-applications". The flavor is the same as most, but less tart.

This is the first glue that really works for me. I am very happy with it. It seems easier to get out of my mouth at night, but maybe that's because I can consume less. Definitely recommend.

Nothing holds up like dentures. I have been wearing dentures for over 30 years and have tried every known product and yes, my dentures fit perfectly. When manufacturers decided to remove the element zinc from denture adhesives, ostensibly for health reasons, these products lost their adhesive properties. This new Ultra Max has worked the best since we no longer have zinc formulas. A bit expensive but good

Holds up better than regular formula but contains zinc. After using it for a few days, I noticed that my food just didn't taste good. It was Fixodent's fault. So I lowered my rating from 4 to 2.

This is the best glue I've tried but it doesn't do what it promises. The top plate is fine, but the bottom plates are inherently difficult. The recommended amount may be enough to hold just one plate, but not enough when eating. I'll have to double the amount and repeat it before lunch anyway.

I used to cosplay fangs for Halloween and it worked out so well! My fangs were glued in, which was very difficult to use and didn't hold well, especially when I needed to speak. Although this fixodent was perfect! They only need a little touch and they last for hours until you're ready to take them off. Removal was just as easy, and the only downside is that if any residue gets on your tongue, it doesn't taste very good, but one sip of water and it's gone. Highly recommended!

Initially, this product adheres better than traditional Fixodent. But like regular Fixodent, as soon as my mom eats or drinks coffee it leaks and needs to be reapplied. If you apply too much product and it runs out of the prosthesis onto the inside of your lower lip, your lip will stick to the prosthesis until you wipe it off, which is rough and difficult to remove; have to keep using paper towels to get it. We are naturally concerned about the zinc it contains, so our search continues.

Tried to use this 30 minutes ago. Not only did it not stick to my "clean and dry" upper denture, I ALSO WASHED IT WITH ALCOHOL to keep it dry, which came off as soon as I opened my mouth, I CAN'T GET THE RESIDUES OUT OF THE MOUTH !
