Great everyday backpack but has flaws

This is a good small everyday backpack that can only carry the essentials. However, I am surprised that no one is complaining about the material. This thing is a magnet for fur and hair. If you have puppies at home, you will surely understand what I mean. Because of this, the backpack looks very dirty and is very noticeable. You can delete it, but it will come back. I'm not sure how I feel about this.

I love the bag, worried about fading after a week.

For me this bag was the perfect size and just what I was looking for. Well thought out compartments and perfect size for a short man. However, right after unpacking I noticed that the colors on the folds and flaps have faded a bit. And now, as you can see in the picture, you can see that there are contact areas that look like they've faded. I don't know how to proceed. I suspect this is a feature of this bag and the material it is made from. However, I keep it. But come on Fjällräven, I know…

Low quality. Bad customer service. (UPDATE BELOW)

Within a month my backpack was torn at the seam. Another breakthrough two months later. I then contacted Fjällräven for a warranty repair. After two weeks of no response I decided it was time to write this review. So bad quality plus bad customer service = bad review and a customer who will never buy from Fjällräven again. canceled. I had no problems with the quality of my new bag. One star deducted for the initial quality and service issue.

Very well made but doesn't last long

Well the backpack is great but this is the second backpack and it won't last more than a year. The design is great, very good size, good and very functional compartments, but both are starting to give a little less than a year. As I said, the first bag was full of holes and lost threads. On the second, holes began to pop through and the zipper unzipped. I would honestly give it a 5 but it's not that durable, if I buy it again I have to understand that it only lasts a year. To be fair I use my…

Small enough to be comfortable, big enough to carry everything I need

I'm a student so it's important to have a backpack that can hold a lot can, but still is easily portable. This backpack is exactly that. It easily fits a 15" MBP and a couple of textbooks and laptops, plus space for a jacket and my lunch. Love the mesh pocket in the smaller compartment for quick access to small and important items (it's perfect for keys!). I'm a little worried about the side water bottle pockets, but they hold a 32-ounce Nalgene bottle, which is large enough. With all that…

I suggest this backpack

I've had this backpack for about 9 months now and it's my daily workhorse at work on construction sites and in the office. It has a good design, weight and compartments that allow you to carry everything you need in your daily life, be it a laptop/tablet, gym clothes, documents, water, medicines or all of the above. Note, however, that the smaller bags will grow larger inside depending on what you put inside. This should have a lower overall profile, but be aware that placing awkward items will

Probably the best lightweight urban day trip backpack I've ever found or owned. It's very strong and durable (material = legit) and has LOTS of handy pockets everywhere to keep me organized. I bought this after a trip to Iceland with a small 18L Patagonia 2 pocket/compartment backpack and upgraded to a Raven 20 before my wife and I went to Copenhagen and explored the city for a week. However, I do have a few other bag types that I really like for a variety of purposes - and I would NOT…

Great basic laptop/laptop backpack for a no frills petite woman

Probably the best basic laptop/urban backpack I've ever had. I've used it daily on the train for my 1+ commute for the 8 months since I bought it. Pros: *Fit: I'm a fairly small woman with a small body, so I liked that the straps didn't feel huge or heavy. The size of the backpack is just right and not too big. * Material: Liked the zippers. No problem getting stuck on anything. Most compartments have two zippers. Dig lots of G-1000 fabric too. I had no faults with the pen as mentioned in other
