Ideal for replacing the PEX fittings in our caravan. Easy to install with a hair dryer to heat the PEX tube. And I love that you can hand tighten it if a leak starts. No special tools are required. No leaks so far.

Ordered 2 of these to have an extra - first tightened and it leaked - took off and second tightened and it leaked too. Throw away both and bought a Sharkbite Cutoff that works great. Would not recommend purchasing this item.

Easy to install. I would suggest slightly warming up your PEX pipe (pipe) with some hair dye to make it slide a little easier and once it has cooled screw in the fitting and you are done. Like other reviewers, make sure the flow arrow is pointing in the right direction.

Fits just like the others I have in my van. I used to drain the water from the tank. It's expensive, but they cost freight, even if it's first class shipping, they always cost more with free freight. Nothing is free, someone has to pay for it. But a good valve will last the life of the car, I'm sure of that.

Refer to those who buy this and then find it doesn't work properly. I had to cut them both off and flip them for them to shut down. If you enlarge the photo, you can clearly see an arrow showing the direction of water flow. It must be installed like this.

If you want to order this fitting from Amazon, order two and plan to return one. As other reviewers have pointed out, Amazon ships the valve with just a union nut. Not two as stated on the Amazon page or on the fitment label. I ordered two to make a usable fitting. Two stars for Amazon, not valve. Appears to be of high quality.

I search my entire RV and put one on every faucet and toilet water line so if a leak is found you just need to shut off that particular water outlet and the water is still to the rest of the RV . Makes repairs really convenient if there is a problem and you can just work on that plumbing as long as you have water in the rest of the RV. Made a simple layout in Photoshop, how it works, very easy to use!
