Works great for blocking heating elements

This product is exactly what I was looking for. My job involves cleaning industrial sized deep fat fryers, and I was constantly being burned on my arms around the outer elbow. These sleeves do a great job covering areas that our gloves don’t cover. The only problem I’ve had is that the Velcro strap for one of the sleeves was hanging by a thread when I pulled them from the package. The strap came off yesterday, but I’ll probably just sew it back on.

Pros
  • Cumplen su función
Cons
  • Can cause skin irritation on sensitive skin

A good fit! - my new review

I ordered these sleeves for my husband….He needed a sleeve to protect his arms when he’s working outside….he likes that they are adjustable and comfortable!

Pros
  • ‎QeeLink
Cons
  • May need frequent replacement

They are perfect: my feedback

My husband uses them for gardening, especially for the sago palms because the needles tend to poke. These prevent all the scratches you get on your arms from trimming palms.

Pros
  • My son who is a welder was always getting burns. Got these for him and he says they work great.
Cons
  • Not suitable for all welding types

Comfortable but won’t stay up.

I love how these are lined and feel very comfortable against the skin. What I didn’t like about them is that they slowly fall down your arms and you need to keep pulling them up. I eventually used a small luggage strap and fastened it to each one and place it around my neck. It works perfectly.

Pros
  • Easy to use and stay on my arms.
Cons
  • May restrict movement in certain positions

Perfect for cooking!

I use the sleeves for cooking & BBQ. Got tired of getting oil splatted on arm/hand and on clothes. Use them daily to protect arm/clothes while cooking. They are adjustable and big enough so I can hide most of hand inside the sleeve if i'm doing some crazy frying.

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • Not suitable for use with some welding techniques

Comfortable: my feedback

Thick comfortable leather the inside material isn't great probably best to store in a bag due to the soft leather Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • ‎Heavy Duty
Cons
  • May become slippery with oil or grease

Leather work sleeves

Heavy duty sleeves and they work well. Elastic at the cuffs are good. I knocked off a star because the Velcro on the upper arm kinda sorta work but cannot get them tight enough. I have some Velcro strips so I'll need to play with them and improvise something. They are warm. Your arms will sweat while wearing them outside in warm weather. Overall they work good, just need to adjust the arm straps.

Pros
  • Bueno
Cons
  • Will not protect against all hazards

Consider the x-large.

I’m glad I read earlier reviews. Those comments prompted me to order the x-large size and they are a good fit — not too tight.

Pros
  • Nice protection for the arms without having to wear a full jacket on warm days.
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in very wet conditions

I have long arms (shirt sleeve 36-37) and these went well above my . I have only used once (they just came) but 3 bags of nectarines came off the tree with no blood spilled by me. Why I didn't get these years ago I don't know. Save your arms and order today!

Pros
  • ‎UV Protection
Cons
  • Gripping objects may be difficult

Great arm protection

Use these sleeves when stick welding. The sleeves are made from good heavy duty leather, are soft and comfortable. They definitely shield you from rogue sparks and hot metal slag. Great piece of safety gear. I found it difficult to wear the sleeve and welder gloves at first, maybe because it was 95 degrees out, but the discomfort far outweighs the benefit. Now I always wear the sleeves anytime I weld, saves a lot of shirts from getting burn holes on the sleeves.

Pros
  • ‎China
Cons
  • May be uncomfortable in warm environments

Bee sting protection

I keep honeybees and get stung a lot through my suit, even with a layered sweatshirt underneath. Thought I would try something more thick, something made of leather. I saw these and decided to try it out. I have short arms so these go almost up to my armpits. It’s thick enough so the bee stingers won’t penetrate through. So far so good although I can foresee it may get a bit hot in the summer months.

Pros
  • They work great!
Cons
  • Can cause sweating and discomfort

Definitely works for my opinion

I started out with some of the compression sleeves that were supposed to be for welding and the sucked. I bought these to replace them and what can I say. I look a little goofy wearing them, but they work darn well lol no more arm burn.

Pros
  • ‎QLLWS
Cons
  • May not be suitable for high visibility jobs
