I don't have electricity in my gazebo so a candlestick was the perfect choice! The cones on the remote control make it even more wonderful! Candles look like real candles. They come with batteries and a remote control.

I wanted to replace the existing plug in lights I have on my windows. I was happy to see the batteries were included. With the remote I can select on-off, 2 brightness settings, 4 hour and 8 hour timer and a mode for subtle candle effect or main light effect. The actual light and battery tube are inserted into the wax sleeve. The only improvement I would recommend is to make the bulb transparent instead of matte like theirs.

The way the lamp insert fits into the wax candle is just awesome! The candles themselves are real, the flame at the top doesn't look like a real flame but it is beautiful. And the remote control feels very nice - all 4 candles can be controlled from the remote control or you can control individual candles manually. They look very pretty on my candlestick! One suggestion is to add a second small dark orange LED at the base to make it look more like a real flame.

These candles worked fine initially, at least the first 2 out of 4 worked. I really only needed two, so I put them in my bras. I was happy with them except that the flicker control on the remote was very minimal. Well now after using it for a couple of weeks one spark plug has completely failed, keeps turning on and off while running and doesn't respond to remote controls. I figured no problem, I bought a set of four so I have two spares. Well, the backups also work strangely and don't respond…

These candlesticks are amazing! With a remote control with a timer option, they turn on and off at the same time every day at a set time, which I really like. I don't have to remember to light these candles or blow them out and there's no wax mess. The remote control works great, even across the room. The candle vs light option is barely visible, but the brighter, less bright button is obvious. I use the less bright mode and it gives off a soft orange light perfect for a nice background effect.

They are really beautiful. Only four stars because I bought two boxes of four and one of the candles chose not to connect to the remote. I bought these to use in my windows for Christmas. They only work a few hours but so far I'm thrilled. (I know reviewers whose enthusiasm has waned over time, so I'll keep an open mind and update as needed). Things to Love: Real wax on the outside and they work with your candle holders.
