later What I wanted: LOTS of battery powered Halloween lights that would stay lit all Halloween night because I've been carving a pumpkin (out of styrofoam) every day throughout October. What I got: exactly that, at an affordable price. It could get a "theoretical" SIX star if the balance sheets are still good next year because it will exceed all possible expectations. (PS I don't understand the reviews saying they are difficult to turn on. My 5 and 6 year olds turned them on with no problem.)

As much as I wanted to love these flameless candles, two of them never worked. I was hoping that if it was worth it I could change the batteries and this would be the answer, but I couldn't remove the bottom of the candles. When trying to open the battery compartment, only the removable battery cover was damaged. I really needed the candles so I saved them and hope they will work at least until the holiday. I do NOT recommend this product. It seems to be another cheap product "Made in China".

I don't normally bother to write reviews but this product was a huge disappointment. At first the color I chose was "warm white" but what came out didn't look like "warm white" or the image in the photo - instead the lights were clearly orange. However, the orange light might have been okay if it hadn't gone away within 24 hours of use! I was so excited to find a pack of 150 tea lights at Revain. We wanted to use them to create gift decorations for nursing home residents at a big event. The items arrived a few days before the event and when I opened them to try them out, about a dozen didn't work right away. The ON/OFF switches didn't slide at all. I ordered these for my wedding next spring but am using a few at home now. The batteries last so long compared to what I expected. I leave them on in my bedroom overnight and easily get a week or more night work from them. So far I haven't found a single defective one. The power button on the bottom can be a little tricky to press, but I use a coin from my wallet to press the switch so I don't break my nails.
