Nice chairs but if you have kids or are a bit heavy they won't hold the weight or kids love to play with adjustable chairs. We put mine together and I immediately decided to sell them on a Facebook sales page. You lose some money but don't have to pay for shipping and restocking. My husband is 5ft 8in and 210lbs. Barely fits the seat. I wasn't thinking when I ordered them I guess.

Bought 7 of these chairs last year. Only 3 remained in service, four of them broke along the weld at the base making them unstable. While they are beautiful and comfortable, they don't last. The company gives a 5-year guarantee on the metal of its chairs. I called to make a warranty claim and was told they didn't believe it was the welds on the chairs. I offered to send a photo. Bought these to see if I would like to order this design for our BAR AREA AT OUR NEW GYM. THE PRICE IS WHAT CATCHED ME. THESE WERE 2 FOR $40.00 and I am going to test them out on our military before I buy the other 15. I want them all in bright colors - no boring stuff for this group of military men who had enough browns and tans, not excluding color SAND. Tell the manufacturer that we need red, yellow, green, purple and BLUE bar stools.

You don't want to use the footrest without shoes because the round tube hurts. I put a pipe insulator on it to muffle it. I just love these bar stools. They were of excellent quality and very durable. The only problem I had was that when sitting in the chair, enough weight had to be applied before they fell off. As such, I highly recommend them for adults who have older children weighing over 25 pounds. Laugh! I bought these chairs (2) because I wanted to update my interior to a modern one and the chairs fit the bill. Nice looking, good quality and easy to assemble if you follow the clear instructions. On the other hand, the chairs are not as comfortable as they could be in my opinion. Sometimes I felt like I would slip if my feet weren't on the footrest. These chairs were pretty easy to put together as I made them myself and I'm not an expert on these things. We used the armrests for a while but decided to remove them to have more flexibility when maneuvering the chairs under the table. We deliberately built our new island table higher to accommodate the arms, but in the end the arms only made things harder with the table frame under the granite.
