We are still reviewing these chairs. I hope that the hydraulic lifting mechanism does not wear out. I suspect this will be the first. You don't want to use the footrest without shoes because the round tube hurts. I put a pipe insulator on it to muffle it. The base is wide enough and strong so the chair stands stable and doesn't want to tip over. That's nice.
