Fleece Hat Friends: 25+ Simple Sewing Projects for Easy Creation Review

These hats are so cute. As mentioned, there is a style hat and lots of adorable decorations to create characters. I'll likely make slight changes to the pattern and instructions, but I'm an experienced seamstress and rarely follow the written instructions. (I read them first.) I'm having a hard time deciding where to start. Here in Wisconsin, hats come in handy most of the year, so I suppose I'll be making a lot of them.

WARNING: Very cute and disappointing book. Patterns are not full size. You need to increase them to different percentages. The book suggests taking it to a local copy shop, which I did, although it was inconvenient. They refused to do it because it's copyrighted. So I'm trying to find someone who can help me. Many times my crafting experiments ended in distorted, sad versions of the example I was trying to follow. Not this time. I made an All a Buzz hat and a dinosaur hat and backpack set. They look just like the examples in the book! Nobody is more surprised by this than me. My only caveat about the book is that I agree with many reviewers that the basic hat pattern results in a fairly square hat with bulges at each corner.
