The overall look of this set has made it one of my favorites. Everything you need to complete the room is included except scissors and glue. Tweezers can also be useful. The kit is not difficult, but it requires time and careful work. It doesn't have to be perfect to look good because there are so many details to pay attention to. These are pieces that a child cannot play with, but an older child can certainly put a set together with a little help.

The kit I received had all the parts I needed and was a lot of fun to put together. Another reviewer mentioned Aline glue and I would say I used it for 90% of this project. It was a great recommendation! That said, I'd say it's definitely intended for adults, or at least older kids. I really liked this miniature. There was so much money to be made. I love the colors and I especially enjoyed building the beautiful swing and daybed. I loved the cat as I am a cat lover. What I didn't like was that the book wasn't in English and I had to print out the English version from my computer for an additional fee. I loved this set. It was neatly packaged and included tools like a ruler, tweezers, a cutting blade, and part of a music box. Update: music box screws and music box holes do not match. There is nothing to attach the screws to, if they fit the holes are too big. The music box lasted about 5 minutes, just stopped playing. Headlights turned on, after a few seconds they went out. I used Mod Podge for the floor and walls, Elmer's Glue for most of the paper structure (books, picture frames) and Aileen's The Ultimate for the furniture assembly, plastic hardware and plexiglass covers.
