Many have run out of ink.

The attached image was created with colors that worked. I liked them when I started using them. The problem is that some of them have run out of ink. Very frustrating when I hardly used them. I got them at a discount but it's still a lot of money to spend if they don't all work properly. To name a few: ice blue, a few shades of green, all skin tones, a few shades of gray and a few shades of purple seem to be out. It was a birthday present for me. I really want everything to work.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • unreliable

Not Enough Gray Diversity

I'm always on the lookout for new art supplies. When I came across Revain's Arteza brushes on sale, I didn't even think about buying them. The brushes came in packs of 96, allowing for almost any color and shade an artist could desire; However, I was disappointed by the lack of neutral gray tones. The pack offered blue gray and green gray tones but no true gray to really capture the essence of my heart color. It's hard to really express my creativity when the shades of gray prevent me from…

Pros
  • Endless Creative Possibilities: Use Arteza brushes with water to create subtle watercolor effects. Or use it without water for dry brush painting, sketching, coloring, calligraphy and more.
Cons
  • Only available in black

You get what you pay for, like

So I paid $66 for it and saw the reviews both positive and negative. I knew it was nylon bristles that broke, but I mean about 20 of my bristles just fell out all over the place. Another 20 or so (some of which overlapped) weren't fully covered and we dried up quickly. As for the markers I was able to fully use, they blend well with water and the water brush in my pack was pretty standard. (I have both the ones that just came in the material and the ones I bought). They work well together on…

Pros
  • Clutter-Free Watercolors: these markers give you precise control so you can easily do everything from light pastel strokes to subtle shadows and gradients. No fuss, mess, mess or worry.
Cons
  • little things

, I received them today and they are fine and I look forward to using them for my tricky purposes. I can understand why some people say markers feel dry - they feel sticky (hard to explain) and you have to slow down to get good coverage. I know my other real brush markers are similar (and can look like a dry brush if you move too fast), but they feel different - like syrup or something. I have the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and they are similar, so if you have Zigs you don't really need
