Works in mid-range for 2009 Kia Soul. Manual Transmission

Didn't want to buy a new axle shaft as OEM is expensive and sometimes it's an aftermarket play on torque. I bought it not knowing if it would fit, but it does. I didn't have a cone small enough to fit over the joint, so I took out the entire shaft. Watch out for escaping gear oil. You can also change the liquid at this stage. Take synthetic gear oil 75W-90 l. You need two liters. Check out how it works on YouTube. Cut off the last step. Assemble, apply lubricant and tighten. Works well. I'll…

Fragile construction - Non-standard clamps - Waste of money

Product failed after only 40km. Cheap, soft, thin rubber - even worse than the original. While it fit easily on my resume, custom metal clips are difficult to use and incompatible with metal tie clips. I threw the useless stuff in the trash and used standard CV metal clips. Even that was a waste of time and effort. After all, you get what you pay for. You might as well toss a $20 bill out the window in traffic -- it'll have the same effect on your resume. An economical alternative to shaft replacement.

bought this item to fix a torn boot that was not repaired before selling (buyer beware). As this was installed yesterday I have no data to suggest longevity or longevity. However, the feel of the material seems to be comparable to the OEM. A few considerations: Make sure you have your measurements to ensure a proper fit. Watch the YouTube video for the installation!
