I wanted an easy way to have 3 purple, 1 pink and 1 white candles at home on Sundays in Advent and this made it easy. The blinking mode was nice. I wish you could set a color and keep it after cycling - that would give me two sets of advent candles from a box of 10 instead of just using half. I wanted to give the other 5 to my daughter, but she needed a second remote control.

They work as advertised and look fine, but turning them off with the remote is NOT the same as turning them off with their little separate switches. If you leave these switches on, the inner workings of each candle will continue to slowly drain the battery even though no light is being emitted. So unless you want to change LOTS of batteries, you'll have to risk your nails and turn each one off after use and turn it on again before the next one.

Do not order this item. You can't return it and there are better products at Revain. This is very frustrating. I ordered 5 different battery operated candles until I found the right product. Many flameless lights are said to be warm white. You are not. They are yellow above and green-yellow at the base. (I think it's perfect for Halloween) I finally found a rechargeable flameless tea light with a timer, remote control and color change. Much better than these lamps. Now I'm stuck on these…

I bought a set for myself and it hangs in the windows for Christmas. The timer works great, works with all settings. All you have to do is choose what you want and then select your desired timer setting. They're pretty bright too. Now we're going to use them in a nice little setting near the TV. I really wanted to give this review 5 stars. I love different colors. The remote works well and if you bought multiple sets from other sellers like me they all work with the same remote which is handy. They are bright and perfectly accent the candles I already have on the bookshelf wall where I can't reach the tall shelves. BUT the colors shown in the picture are not what you will get. The white light is almost blue, it's so bright and the yellow is more like lemon yellow (almost lime yellow)…
