I bought a set for myself and it hangs in the windows for Christmas. The timer works great, works with all settings. All you have to do is choose what you want and then select your desired timer setting. They're pretty bright too. Now we're going to use them in a nice little setting near the TV. Someday I'll try to take a picture of it. The batteries lasted maybe a month or so if used about 8 hours a day or more. One day I got a replacement at the store again. Oh yes, I bought 4 more right before Christmas. 3 for family members and another set for me. That way I could have more windows for better customization. Mine should buy more.
