Ideal for student pilots/recreational pilots

This bag is large enough to hold everything you need without being bulky. The first zip pocket has inside pockets to keep things organized and easy to find. Each of the zippered pockets is lined with felt to protect your GPS, iPad, headphones, etc. from damage. For this I use it with a margin. Outside pockets: knee pads, divided into two. First zip pocket: logbook, chargers, backup SD cards, gum/snacks, tissues. Center zip pocket: Garmin 796 GPS, spare iPad. Third zip pocket: Bose A20…

Great flight bag, great for luggage and travel gear

I've been training to fly with a backpack and a Bose headphone case. It was an awkward combination, so I looked for something more compact. I like the Pro bag because it's a bit more understated. The bag itself is well padded and finished. There are three main branches; the middle compartment which I use for the Bose A20, the pocket/jewelry compartment which I use for the portable battery and the spare batteries. There's also space for cords and a zipped pocket to keep things like pilot's…

The handle breaks - stay away *UPDATE*

The flight bag was fine with me at first. There's a decent amount of space and everything stays organized. However, after about 2 months of use, the handle began to detach from the bag and continues to deteriorate. I think the other side will start to tear too. The bag would be cool if that didn't happen. I tried to contact the company regarding this issue. At the time of writing this article, they have not yet responded. I remember seeing a review mentioning this issue before buying it. I…

Best bag I've found for my flight gear

This is a pretty decent bag that fits all my flight gear perfectly. I was surprised how much I can fit in the bag, it has many compartments which I love and the design and colors are really fresh. My only criticism is that the material inside is like a felt material that catches hanging nails. and dry skin etc so I'm not a big fan of this piece as I would have preferred more nylon material. But I understand they used that material for the velcro dividers that came with it, but I didn't use the…

More room than a lift bag but with the same great features

I've had the little lift bag for a few years now and love it. It was too crowded as I added a lot of things I felt important so I was very excited when I heard about the new large Lift XL and XL Pro bags which are based on the Lift bag. I have had the opportunity to use the Lift XL Pro in a Cessna A185F that I fly for work and in my own Maule MX-7-180. Pros: I really like the Lift XL Pro bag. It does an excellent job of neatly organizing my headset, cables, iPad and mount, flight log…
