I liked the special occasion look and was willing to pay $60 for a fun shoe but the quality wasn't there. Immediately after unpacking, the dark blue part was torn and peeled off. I'm pretty sure it would only get worse with wear and tear. After all, they were mainly bought for their looks. Comfortable enough that you could have kept them for $29.99 as they wouldn't be used heavily, but couldn't justify the cost of a pair of spongy plastic shoes with a peel-off design. Too bad.
