Although some users say it's uneven, it's not true. However, you'll often need to tug on the spirit level to make sure everything stays straight. I had to make small adjustments here and there. Overall I'm very impressed with it. It's a lot cheaper than building with black iron from the big hardware stores.

Well, first of all, they look great! Aesthetically they are perfect. The first problem, and the biggest for me, is that you need boards nearly 14 inches wide to fill the space properly, which means custom boards. My second problem is that the threads are not the same length, which complicates things because some of the hardware stays loose when you attach it to the wall. It doesn't fall apart and is strong enough just uncomfortable to assemble.

So glad you have these shelves! I decided to remodel my closet and ditch all the old shelves. I ordered various pieces of black iron, and these shelves go perfectly with it! I found some brackets to screw into the bottom of the tree to hold the boards. So they are very stable! I changed the included anchors. They may have done a great job, but I wanted some peace of mind by going with a brand I'm familiar with. In general, I'm just thrilled!

This is actually a really good shelving system. I painted mine white to make it look different than the original photo. However, they don't tell you how difficult it is to install.
