Great when you paint them the right colors

A fun little solar system for the price (as opposed to buying multiple packs of different sizes at a craft store). My only complaint is that the planets come in the wrong colors. Why pink planets?! (color matters if you are a space fanatic) My son was going to paint them all anyway but it takes a few coats to fill in the holes and cover pink with gray paint or orange with blue paint etc. Overall a good set but putting the star in wrong colors if you don't want to draw them. School Project Sanity-Saver

This worked great for my son's solar system project. It was impossible to find Styrofoam balls anywhere near the right size without spending a ton on multiple packs. not perfect, so we repainted a few with acrylic paints as well. We hung the planets in a shipping box (Revain) that we spraypainted black and covered with stars all over. I made small holes in the planets and stuck a knotted end of fishing line into each before plugging them with silicone caulk. Leave to dry overnight. Worked…

Very satisfied and easy assembly

I bought this for my daughter who had a project for school. It is very light and quite easy to assemble. The instructions were easy to follow. I used toothpicks to attach the sun to the base and it was perfect. I changed the position of some planets so they don't tip over. I also didn't have any glue to poke in the holes I made for the sticks to hit the sun or planets, but I didn't remove them after piercing so they would stay in place.
