Couldn't exchange.

Like: I've been wearing Florsheim loafers for years. They are comfortable and last a long time. I will continue to buy moccasins from Florsheim if I can find them in the originally advertised $60-$80 range. Unfortunately I was too careful when ordering the size and bought a half size up to make sure they fit. I had to send them back. I tried returning them half a size smaller as a replacement. The replacement cost was double the new price. I had to settle for getting a refund and buying another

Heels and soles separately

This is my third pair of Comos. In every pair, the heel has come off on one or both shoes. I also had to change the sole after about three months because the sole literally came off while walking. I contacted the manufacturer directly who reassured me that I shouldn't have this problem, but I assume they are aware of this issue and have no intention of fixing it. My shoemaker agrees.

Small side size

I am a US size 9D and my order was very tight on my feet. You should consider ordering a larger size than you wear. But the burglary wasn't that bad. The stitching, outsole and leather quality look great, polishing not so much. The pair I received had a few blemishes (which I fixed). For those who, like me, are on their feet all day, I would recommend some of Dr. Scholl recommend, men's sizes 8-12, 1 pair. 9 months wear out 2 days a week?

Really disappointing track record of $170 for Florsheim shoes that used to be top notch. I have a weird habit of only wearing these shoes on Mondays and Wednesdays of each week. I bought them 9 months ago so in total they can be worn for about 72 days plus or minus a few days. Florsheim shoes have kept me for over 10 years. Times have changed and now the sole is coming off the left shoe. Repair cost $90. Very disappointing. After 30 years of loyalty to this brand I will look elsewhere for my…

The problem is that they still looked good even though I took them for stretching and as a result they broke within a few months. My original rating see my opinion in May: Great shoes, a bit slippery at first like all leather soled shoes but they shrink after a few days of wear. I find these shoes to be of good quality and great workmanship. I withdraw my review. They are comfortable but don't last. I do not recommend
