I have worn these shoes twice. Twice! Altogether maybe 6 hours. The side seam is completely torn. I have owned many pairs of Florsheim shoes over the years. Quality control is gone. Never again. Never. A complete waste of money. Do not buy!

I've had this pair of shoes for a few months now. They look great and polish well for a nice shine. However, the pair I received had a few threads sticking out of the top seam so I had to trim them flush. The stitching on the upper also feels a little looser than I expected. The color goes well with brown or light brown suits. When the shoes arrived they were a little tight but a shoe tree tag took care of that. I have a wide bridge and this fits well. The leather structure is very elegant. Like most Florsheim styles, they are extremely comfortable once stretched. Burglary is minimal. Soft leather upper all around. I have searched all the stores and very few stores stock a size 14 and when they do it is usually a casual/athletic shoe rather than a formal shoe. I bought them with the hesitation that I might have to send them back. But nice surprise, they fit my height 14ft. I'm a normal width and it was perfect. I bought black shoes and am considering buying exactly the same shoes in brown :-).

First impression: looks great but the sole looks like some kind of rubber - it's definitely different than leather. I was excited to receive a pair of beautiful leather soled shoes as advertised and pictured.
