Worked great for my earwax problem.

I went to the doctor for too much earwax. I didn't hear anything in one ear. He used an irrigator-like device with warm water to wash off the wax. He also charged me $100. So instead of going to the doctor, I once put some olive oil in my ear to soften the wax and washed it with warm water and this device. It is thumb operated so you get just the right amount of water pressure. Works perfectly.

I expected it to be manual. Didn't expect it to expire.

I know it's not "powered" but I did NOT expect it to leak. And that it could not be used in a horizontal position. During use, the device drips from the plastic case just above the screw-on reservoir. This CAN be fixed if you wrap the area with pipe tape. but it doesn't have to be anything you have to do to use it. The water pump tube is located on one side of the device and makes it impossible to use the device in a horizontal position in the hand as the pump tube cannot reach the water after…

Great for tonsil stones

I've used this to clean my tonsils and it works really well. I bought this because I can control the power of the jet by pressing the button lightly or firmly. I've used it a few times on my teeth but a battery powered water trap is much more effective on my teeth. I already have one of these so I don't need it to brush my teeth. I took off a star because the list name starts with "Power" which I think is misleading.

Very functional, good for dental care. It's a shame the product has been around for so long.

Typical water jets are electric, ie batteries or cords, making the device awkward to carry. I found it difficult to position the hose connected to the nozzle during use. Uncontrolled water pressure can be dangerous for gums. I also have a water jet that connects to a faucet so the user can adjust the temperature and pressure. However, the direction/position of the nozzle is also difficult to control. Adjusting temperature and pressure (including on-off) is even more difficult. With both…
