The corners on these molds prevent the concrete from setting in the right direction. There will always be gaps between the corner and your concrete mix, causing bubbles to form on the final product. I've changed the mix many times, made it funnier and thicker, I've used a small concrete mixer to help the mix fill in the corners, I've tapped the shapes with my hands and on the table after I've finished them with the mixture, but always the same result: air bubbles at the corners.

I have to say what a wonderful product. I read the reviews and I have to disagree with my dissatisfied customers. I use a quick setting cement called "CEMENT ALL" (also available from Revain). This is the ideal environment for these forms. The product has no defects and is perfectly symmetrical. The use of other cement media was unsuccessful. Less bubbles when using this product with Cement All (I actually prefer the uniqueness of bubbles).

I was very excited to get hold of them and try them out so I could make some simple gifts for my plant loving friends but unfortunately they are very cheap and 2 sets of 4 immediately got big cracks on the sides messing up the shapes. I will not spend any more money on this brand and hopefully this review will save someone else from wasting their money. I also bought the molds from another brand and the quality varies a lot and has much thicker silicone walls so it's 100% just a crappy product.
