This replacement valve has improved water flow through our low flow push button toilet. fills the tank a bit slower but definitely pushes more water into the bowl when rinsing.

When you watch the video instructions it tells you to trim the length of the pipe - I didn't trim mine at all. Leaving the pipe as long as possible will create more water and a stronger flush.

Used for the Costco Water Ridge 2 Piece Brand. The toilet has a 3" tank opening, the only modification was to cut off the overflow and flip it over to properly align the half/full flush buttons. At half the price of the original part.

Can be washed out super. The old factory flush valve didn't work, if you know what I mean. I really wish it came with gaskets for the tank bolts and a gasket between the tank and the bowl. If you remove the tank, it's usually junk. Had to buy them locally to finish.

Fairly easy installation. It worked perfectly for the double flush toilet I bought at Sam's Club 15 years ago. The original manufacturer stopped producing toilets and toilet parts 5 years ago. It has a corresponding 3 inch installation required. I had to cut the stuffing tube to get the plumbing to fit properly, but other than that it was a small replacement. I highly recommend this product.

If you want to buy a toilet with decent flush performance here in Southern California, you need to find a dual-flush toilet. This will give you 1.6 gallons in a full flush. a toilet with an original double flush valve that started to leak. I used to have to hold down the button for a full flush. WaterRidge sent me 3 (yes, three) flush valves, all of which leaked from the box. Got all in and decided to try this one before throwing the stupid toilet out the window. I'm guessing this flush valve actually does what it's supposed to do and keeps water from leaking into the bowl until you press the flush button. Wow. Wonderful.
