No diode test

I love this meter but was very disappointed that it didn't have a diode test. Really Fluke? It's such a common feature that I assumed it was there, just like every other DVM on the market. Aside from this crippling bug, everything is fine.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Shorter cord than others

Great car multimeter.

Works by a happy coincidence. I put everything I need in a multimeter. I use that and a Fluke amp almost every day at work. High-end multimeters can do a lot more, but for automotive technicians, this is all you need.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Availability of updates

As advertised, very reasonable and works great for my needs.

I'm not a professional electrician, but I need something to help me test vintage speakers. I mostly use the ohm setting and it works great for me. Good price and does the job, looks well built. Try it, you will like it.

Works great for what it's supposed to.

It's very simple, but small, robust and easy to read with a large display. Cheaper auto-sensing voltmeters will fluctuate in their readings if not tested, but this is not the case. This makes it much easier to use. Haven't tried it in the dark yet. Having used the cheaper ones for years this is a delight.

  • Certified
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Not sold outside of China

This gauge could be a real Fluke but who knows. As you can see from the attached photo, this item was never intended for sale in the US. The supplied manual is also printed in Chinese. Since I don't read Chinese, I didn't care. While this may be a good DMM, it was never intended for the US market; Emptor "no guarantee" constraint.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Obsolete

Fluke 106 - frustrating

After the purchase decision, although the device was more expensive than the Fluke 107, which has more features and functions; To my disappointment I found that there is no Fluke bag for this particular range of gauges and secondly the instruction manual that came with the gauge is useless and mostly contains information about spec types. For a meter of this type and price, the device must have an up-to-date "operating manual", which, by the way, is available on the Internet. COMPLETELY, DON'T…

We expected more - Fluke - Fluke-106 Esp Fluke-106 Palm-size DMM

Fluke - Fluke-106 Esp Fluke-106 Palm-size DMM I don't know you but I had a great experience with previous Fluke -Multimeters mean really great, so imagine my surprise when this little test device didn't even last a year. Fake? not that I could say. The stupidest thing is just one of the battery contacts that just broke off for no apparent reason. As can be seen in the photos, all the others are fine, only one is broken. The last one we had lasted about 20 years, if it hadn't been stolen we…

. Diode in circuit test and frequency measurement function. It does NOT have these features, making it unsuitable for electronic troubleshooting. Fluke makes the best test tools and offer great value for money when you don't need those features. It also only measures MV AC, NOT MV DC. IF you want them. Order a Fluke 17b or Fluke 107 from a rental company that is out of stock at the time of this review. I order 17b. Look closely at the counters and don't believe the ads on Amazon. That was…

Great for home use Good for testers

Pros: 1- It's a Fluke - it works as advertised. Languages - Reading would make it even more cultured. Cons: 1 - Designed for the non-US/Canada market, there may be warranty issues. 2 - My device was going to be sold in a retail store - the price tag was removed leaving marks. I'm not interested in the package, but why couldn't it be sold? 3- The package was battle-hardened, a few traces of wounds and a purple heart - he survived. It is no problem for me. 4- Almost identical to Fluke 107 except…
