The best. Bought this for my son. It will accompany him for the rest of his life. Fluke quality is the best of the best. Always was, always will be.

However, this is the best tester I've ever had.

I have been an electrician for 13 years. Then after a few testers. Because of the cheapness of production and the people who calm them down. However, this is the best tester I've ever had, I don't lose sight of it.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • drill kit

Calibration Certificate Validity

The order was delivered in the first week of May 2017. A recalibration is expected to be required approximately 12 months after this date. The date of calibration on the calibration certificate received is 10/17/2016, therefore the due date is 10/17/2017. Full payment for the calibration certificate with half-life: not good

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

The best multimeter ever

The best all-round digital multimeter. You know that every reading is correct and accurate. It will be a long time before anyone outgrows or finds this beast obsolete or missing. When you mind your own business, see it as an investment that you will grow into and will always reward you. If you're a pro, you really shouldn't settle for less. This is a tank, I meet mine and wear it everywhere every day. From installing a simple light fixture to repairing a home appliance, diagnosing an oven…

The certificate is outdated and not valid.

The product itself is excellent. The only problem is the certificate. The number of device calibrations can be checked by clicking on specific sub-pages of the device. The manufacturer calibrates each device and the device can display this. When confirming the number of calibrations performed, the device will indicate that it has only been calibrated once. Why when ordering a device that is supposed to send a Calibration Verification Certificate is the certificate outdated meaning you get a…

Obviously a good meter, but clearly not a perfect one either

----- Background ----- First, a digital multimeter is sort of the equivalent of a Swiss Army knife or multi-tool: it's for designed for many things, but not necessarily for the best results in each of them. Second, there are many different disciplines that can acquire this gauge. Hobbyists, home electricians, industrial/manufacturing workers, electronics repairers, etc. Of these, Fluke is pretty clear that this is primarily for industrial use (not just this kit, 87V in general). -----I agree…

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Almost never
