A very beautiful thing. Bigger than I thought it would be, so I can replace one of my current water bowls with this one, giving me more living space as well as another "cozy" spot for my hermit crabs!

This is such a cool addition to my hermit crab habitat. My two small hermit crabs have nesting places and can still be separated from each other under the cave. They really seem to like it. After adding it to its habitat, one of my crabs dug a beautiful hole in the sand under a bowl of water and shed its skin!

Leaked at the end of the first week. I was really looking forward to this bowl, but it didn't last long. Save money and take a look at your kitchen. I ended up using a very flat corn husk. One for saltwater and one for freshwater. They work great and I have not used them in any way.

This is perfect for my young hermit crabs! Herm and Dee are still very small, so they fit easily into the cave. I also dug some sand underneath so they will fit even as they grow into larger shells. However, for a large hermit, this is probably not the best option. My only complaint is that my first one arrived broken. This was mainly because Revain packed it with heavy sand which crushed it, but they fixed it very quickly and sent me a new one which arrived intact. In the attached photos…
