💧 AquaStop Valve for Fluval X06 - A20061 Review

Exactly what I ordered but a small plastic part was broken on arrival. This will still work but is still a bit disappointing. I'll be in touch to see if they send a replacement but overall still good.

I have had 2 Fluval 406 filters that have lasted 8 or 9 years. Anytime there's a problem, it's this part that solves it. I only had to buy it 3 times for 2 during this period. Even if it doesn't leak, the hermetic seal may not be hermetic after a while.

This is a plastic valve. I clean my filters every month and have had a 406 for 3 years so I opened and closed it 36 times before it went bad. Yes, they're expensive for what they are, but Fluval makes the best canister filters, so I'll stick with them. Now I will definitely take stock, regardless of the price. It was a quick 5 minute switch that went smoothly.

I like a real filter, I hate that cheap valve that breaks easily. I bought 5 filters, two 206s and three 406s, currently only use 406s and had to buy two of these because I broke my last of two and needed a replacement.
