I didn't think swapping these parts would change my noise filter. A friend recommended me to buy this kit several times before I gave up and bought it. I just didn't want to spend that much money, this completely solved the problem! Lesson learned, listen to your friends.

Bought because like an idiot I threw away the box with the door, o-ring and hoses so I can't compare it to the original but this is an authentic Fluval part so I can't imagine it being anything else and the price was great when I ordered. my fluval 306 has been running for about a month now with no problems.

This item will work unless it arrives broken twice in the same week I don't understand why it has to be sent this way when I see that it's not the only one who has the same broken piece. This is a very fragile plastic part that should be packed separately. The rest of the filter cannot function without this part.

SELLER, STOP sending these kits in a bubble envelope! These sets are not cheap. This is the case with my order from Kens Fish. The new impeller arrived with a broken rib. smh What I needed the most was the impeller cover as the old one was worn out and the ceramic shaft punctured the cover. I replaced the old impeller fins with the new impeller and my filter worked again. That's all.

The service kit fits the filter perfectly, but I think the engine broke because the service kit didn't solve my particular problem. I replaced the whole filter was about 4 years old. old. Now I have a spare grooming kit. My advice: have a maintenance kit and an extra ceramic wand handy as the wand breaks very easily. This was my only complaint about the Fluval product. I didn't clean mine as thoroughly as I should have due to an illness. I think that's why the whole pump had to be replaced.
