Not the best for drone use

I bought this for a done build for my kids. It's a little bulky and setup isn't as intuitive as it is with my Tauranis.Hind sight I wouldn't have went this route if I had a do over.

Pros
  • I use these on all my RC projects work perfect every time.
Cons
  • TrieD both Flysky FSI6 AND fs 16CX, FAILED BOTH ON BIND.

Worth the upgrade for my opinion

We purchased this product to add an additional channel to be able to control a camera gimbal and still have the use of the six ESC’s on our hexa copter, and this was before we learned as Bus. Even though we are still using the standard channel 123-4564 ESC‘s and using channel Seven and eight for flight mode and camera control, this works amazing and was super easy to bind with our transmitter. Perfect for any RC that needs more than 6CH

Easy bind using my iRangeX Multiprotocol Transmitter.I have not tested the range yet but seems have no problems from 300ft.How to Bind:Connect the the bind plug to the b/vcc pins, connect the + and ground pins (gd pin is the bottom one), power up ,if the led indicator flashes rapidly the receiver is in bind mode. when the receiver is bound the led stops flashing and stays on. power off, get the bind plug out and you're all set.

Powerful Reciever! good for me

Seller shipped fast, the receiver arrived in one day in perfect condition. It comes in the protective plastic shown in the picture. Note that this receiver is not by any means small (not going in your micro quad) but it does have excellent range due in part to the dual dipole antennas. With its sensitivity of -105dBm it will give you the longest range of the flysky / turnigy receivers. Would be perfect for fixed wing aircraft.
