I would have given 5 stars except the sole was already coming off the bottom of one of the boots. My pit bull has long skinny legs and these are the only boots I could find that weren't short and wide. They also went up his leg far enough to stay. Too bad they're falling apart.

I love these doggy boots! I would have bought them many years ago! My dog Captain has had paw problems and injuries for the past 5 years and getting outside especially in the snow has always been a challenge! Putting on an IV bag is agony, those boots I can slip right over his bandaged leg! Keeps his foot dry and doesn't slip like an IV bag.

Perfect for my little beagle. I had trouble finding the right shoes/boots. Most kits are one size for all 4 paws. Its front set differs in width from its back set, and its hind legs are much longer, up to the heel crease, than most dog breeds. Double Velcro straps on each, wide toe and top/back slit ensure a perfect fit.

I like the possibility of velcro to be able to put more on under each dog. They must be worn tight, we lost one in the snow for a few days. It took my dog very little time to get used to it. I feel safe outdoors knowing that something sharp won't break through solid ground. It was exactly what I was looking for. Our Golden Retriever can walk in the snow without clogging its paws with snow, thorns from the forest and can even be protected from hot concrete.

My girl had no time to adjust! She sounds like a galloping horse! She doesn't mind me putting them on, she even walks over when she sees me picking them up to get ready. She no longer lies in the snow with freezing feet and ice and snow stuck between her toes and the balls of her toes. She has a Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix and has had a great winter in the snow without losing her in the deep snow like she did with the felts which were useless in the wet and deep snow.

After we stopped laughing hysterically at our dog who "walked" in these snowshoes for half an hour, he started to get used to them. We undressed her, waited 2 hours, dressed her again for her real walk. At first she ran with them; then she ran across the snow. We had a frost of -36 degrees and she could not walk in the snow for more than 5 minutes. She could not get rid of the accumulated energy for 2 weeks. In these shoes, she was happy to walk and walk for more than an hour. She was so happy…
