Very nice little ramp

Daughter-in-law is in a wheel chair since childhood. She needed a safe way to get into my house. This fits the bill very nicely. It's light weight and sturdy. Folds in half and stores well. In the door picture it is a 32 inch door way. In the other picture you will notice to the right there is a longer ramp to get her on the porch. Both are light weight and sturdy. We love the no slip traction on the mini ramp. I highly recommend this ramp. However please keep in mind that at this angle she…

Pros
  • just what I needed for a 7" lip
Cons
  • The ramp may rust over time, making it less effective

Great wheelchair ramp

The ramp is sturdy and is wide enough for a standard wheelchair. I got a 4 foot ramp for an 8" rise. It is a little hard to pull the ramp up, but I managed to pull a 215 lb. person ok onto porch to back in front door. It opens and rests onto the stoop and did not slip. It has holes to drill into a deck or maybe concrete but I did not do that. It has anti-skid tape, which is nice. It folds for easy storage in the shed and will come in handy if I need a ramp for other things such as using a…

Pros
  • it work
Cons
  • The ramp may not be covered by a sufficient warranty or guarantee

Works perfectly. Very well made of quality materials. Only regret is I didn't buy one longer for more height. I bought the curb 4 in. Height model which works perfect but wish I had bought for at least 12 inch height. Longer is better.

Pros
  • Wheelchair Ramps
Cons
  • The ramp may be difficult to clean and maintain

They are very study.

They are very sturdy and unfold pretty easily, but are fairly heavy for one person to put up and take down. Overall, they work well. I have a concrete porch and have chosen not to drill holes in it to secure the ramp to it. So I tend to take it up and put it down more often.

Pros
  • works great...easy install....drill two pin holes and Whalaa!!
Cons
  • The ramp may be slippery when covered in snow or ice

Perfect solution!: my feedback

This ramp has been a life-saver! My 85 year old wheelchair bound mother has come to live with me for the summer and I needed a way to get her in & out of the house. We have a 7 inch rise at the door and 8.5 inch rise step. The 4 foot ramp is perfect. We get up/down one level, then move the ramp to get up/down the next. It's light weight and easy to pack in the car to use on curbs as well. Couldn't be happier with this simple solution. It's sturdy and safe. Good purchase!

Pros
  • Very sturdy.
Cons
  • The ramp may not be wide enough for some users' needs

Lightweight and sturdy

We have a historic building that has a step to get up in the front door. One of our customers is in a wheelchair. Ordered this to make the building handicapped accessible and it works great.Very light weight but very sturdy

Pros
  • excellent and easy to use
Cons
  • The ramp may be prone to warping after prolonged use

Everyone should have one

This is just the right size for average door threshold. Sits in the doorway securely and is sturdy. Love the ability to fold it up to store and reuse time and time again. Got it for wheelchair use but found we have used it for several deliveries and with our dolly rather than lifting items in and out of the house. Because we can!

Pros
  • Does what it supposed to do.
Cons
  • Heavy for handicapped person to move around. OK for permanent install.
