Ok, these are expensive shoes. I avoided spending as much on golf shoes by buying smaller shoes and all I got from it was sore feet. In the end I swallowed the bullet and I don't regret it. It always seems like FJ put comfort at the top of their priorities when designing their touring shoes, which is odd. Based on some reviews I was hoping that the new Pro/SL would be different. Overall performance was excellent - grip, stability etc (hence the 3 stars) - but walking comfort was poor and I had blisters on the back of both ankles after 6 holes which is totally unacceptable. I had to leave the track and switch to another pair. I don't know why FJ can't design a comfortable heel…
