I don't recommend this

this will not fit a 2010 Yamaha R6 unless they think we have to cut, weld or do whatever it takes to make it work. The bolt is too long for both footpegs and the right footpeg is installed differently than this part

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • It's OK

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Slightly shorter than the original but still good.

The length is a bit shorter but still offers enough leg room and feels a lot better than the half broken footrest I had. The build quality looks good. One difference you'll notice is that the feelers, which screw in from the bottom, look a lot wider than the stock feelers on my Yamaha.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Some issues

Feel cheap and light. Much less than .

Feels cheap and light. Much smaller than my 2006 Yamaha FZ6. Similar in size to passenger footpegs. However, I've been riding them for 6 months now and they haven't broken and they don't affect my shifting/braking performance (I even have a stem because I was too lazy to change both. Mismatch doesn't affect). doesn't bother me.)

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Protection

Broke while driving. Cheaply made

I will definitely not buy again. just installed about 2-3 months ago on a 2012 R1. Today I fell on the rear wheel of a speed bump. The landing wasn't even hard (I'm only 180 pounds) and the footboard broke off right at the ankle. Luckily I didn't crash. idk if the one i had was defective or just didn't meet oem standards but i definitely wouldn't risk these pins. SECURITY THREAT

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Functionality

Despite the description, they do not fit the '04 R6.

Contrary to the description, they do not fit the R6 '04. The pins are too long and you have to remove the whole rear kit to install the pin on the right side. or drill or cut an existing pin to fit a replacement - which doesn't matter because the one you get is way too long anyway. If a consistent look is important to you, don't worry and instead order a factory replacement that comes pre-fitted with a bracket.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Suitable for

Fits well, no modifications required

Fits a 2010 Yamaha R6 and is a direct replacement. No modifications were required to any parts and they look and feel like factory pins. The only advice I can give is to make sure you use blue Loctite (or similar) threadlock on the contact points that screw into the bottom edge of the pin. Step. It would be nice if the company included a very small package as not everyone has a thread blocker, but I definitely can't knock them out for that. Great product, 5 stars.

Pros
  • Easy installation, no manual
Cons
  • Update available

Modification Required

The footplate is not the same size as the original. The lower stop that adjusts the height of the footrest is not long enough. I had to glue in an 1/8" spacer to make sure it would sit flat and correctly. I glued it to the part that holds the footrest. It still moves up and down and the spring works fine. Also, the Quality not the best. The molding is quite flimsy and if you are a heavier rider they may not be able to support your weight if you step on them.I am about 185 and wouldn't stand onโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Material: Aluminum
Cons
  • Interval

Updated - weaker than stock needles

Looks mostly like stock but tentacles are shorter than stock. I've never found much use for it other than to protect your shoes from the pavement. Remember the right side is riveted and will require a grinder or drill to remove. I didn't do that because only the left one was damaged and I don't really care about the match. UPDATE: This product is weaker than stock. See photo. This happened when climbing on pegs for dipping on the street - 4-5 months after installation. Bought another setโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Color: same as photos
Cons
  • Large and bulky
