It said 'unique design', they weren't kidding! This tent was so unique that it took longer to put up and take down, requiring a lot more strength and multiple bumps and knocks because the poles are connected to a large frame. Other tents usually have 3 pole sets, 2 poles for the tent frame and 1 pole for the canopy. With this tent, everything is integrated into a single frame. The fishy smell I noticed initially went away after a few minutes of sun exposure, so it wasn't an issue. It was very overwhelming at first, but quickly dissipated and never returned.
