Unfortunately it didn't turn out to be a lean, athletic 6 foot runner, but I guess the packaging didn't promise me that when I bought it for a friend.

Bought for a friend and he finally has a friend! I'm so happy for him! Thanks for the help, now he can take him to the bar unseen at the weekend!

Bought for my girlfriend for her birthday. She seemed to enjoy it and thought it was a good idea. Who would have thought that a good person could grow in water, like an eggplant or something? If you know a woman who needs a boyfriend and doesn't mind pouring water on him and keeping him wet, think about it!

I used this as a gag gift on the White Elephant Gift Exchange. The best part is that my 17 year old nephew eventually got it. It was fun! The best part is that he played along and spent days looking for his friend and accusing people of stealing. I never saw it grow, but the idea was a hit.

Bought this "Boyfriend" for my older sister who could use it. It's quite small in the package, maybe 4 inches tall. It must grow in water. Well, we got it right (it's not rocket science) and my sister's new boyfriend only grew a few inches. It was bloated and slimy. to. Hello, I tried! It's a fun novelty, but I've seen other similar items grow much larger due to their sponge effect. I really don't think it's worth the money.
