Excellent Expansion Valve for Automotive Cooling

The Four Seasons expansion valve worked perfectly in my vehicle's AC system, providing cool air even in hot summer temperatures. As my tests showed, it maintained consistent pressure and prevented any leaks. However, the installation process was a bit complicated and required additional tools. Overall, it is a reliable and efficient replacement part for engine cooling and climate control.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • Difficult to install for those with little mechanical experience

Fasteners are missing

There were no fasteners, can't reuse the old one so basically have to buy another one or find a bolt if you can, what fits and works as intended, deviate and just use Autozone at a lower price and if it doesn't have everything you'll know right away and can easily source a different or missing part.

Pros
  • Package dimensions: 4.572 H x 9.652 D x 7.62 W (cm)
Cons
  • Style 90

Great replacement for OEM

Prior to replacing this valve I had an intermittent minor issue with the evaporator coil freezing. I suspected it was a valve but decided to test some of the simpler possibilities like freon, airflow, etc. Eventually I professionally removed the freon from my system and recycled it. (Please DO NOT allow freon to be released into the atmosphere) After replacing this valve and charging the system back up, my air conditioner is working great.

Pros
  • Part number: 39209
Cons
  • Interval
