Four Seasons 74678 Heater Valve: Optimal Heating Control for All Seasons Review

Based on our own experience, this product was a total letdown. Although it was advertised as compatible with our Automotive vehicle, it had several manufacturing defects that made installation impossible. Unfortunately, we had to return it and looked for another brand.

Bought to replace the heater valve on my Studebaker truck that was working really hard. Before driving, the heater under the hood had to be switched on or off. With this valve, controlling the heater is very easy. Just the reverse process. The handle at the entrance is now heated, the outside is heated. But it's great to move on to a more modern piece that actually works.

Very good quality ball valve that closes fully. 2 hose fittings 3/4 inch I used a jeg 15830 manual choke cable with this but I had to use my own cable adapter as the jeg cable end adapter did not work with the pin on this valve. (I used a 22-18ga red electrical ring terminal which I crimped onto the end of the wire and then soldered on for reliability - works great!)
