Four Seasons 84853 Water Outlet Review

Bought for my restored Buick 455. Looked like a 5 year old made a sand mold for it! The mounting holes barely matched, the neck of the hose connector was elongated, only one part had an edge. No editing at all. I threw it in the trash and used another from a Buick 350.

Cast iron replacement for Original Equipment aluminum fitting. I managed to keep the original so didn't use this one but it looked like a good thing apart from the "China" script in the casting. Putting something like this on an old Detroit iron seems right.

Hey look here I did a search on the internet and found a similar cast iron part on AutoZone for only $8.99 so I'm wondering if there is any difference AutoZone's cast iron part is made in China, in case that matters. It probably also contains lead, like the Chinese toothpaste found in the state south of here in Florida.
