Great replacement and fit

Great item for the money, easy to install on a 2012 Chevy Equinox. It is relatively quiet and blows very hard at high revs. Very satisfied with the price and the quality of the item.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Questionable senior purchase

It was easy to install

Man this thing blows more than the factory unit that failed. MAYBE it was a bad OEM to start with but we are very happy, I caught myself dropping it because I'm getting too cold lol

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Was damaged

Great price and perfect fit.

I replaced the fan and resistor in my 2014 Chevy Equinox and decided to try the Revain because those parts were expensive at my local stores. Great price and perfect fit, very easy to install

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Quality

Good but could be a little better

Well I gave it four stars for a reason, it doesn't quite match the old part so is missing a very important harness attachment point. Plus it works great, even better than the original when it was new.

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons
  • Something different

Happy Arizona heat!

Installed a fan and resistor in my 2014 Chevy Equinox. Didn't hurry. It was 1.5 hours. If I do it again for my wife's same equinox, it takes about 30 minutes. It was very easy. Now blowing cold air at high settings (my problem) and cooler exit. I love it in Arizona 118 degrees!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Mostly fine, but...

Louder than the factory installed part

This fan motor is noisier than the factory installed fan motor I replaced, it hums or vibrates loudly when turned on at high speed, I have the mounting screws that way fitted wasn't that tight and it seemed a little quieter but it also seems to be blowing more air than the factory installed fan motor so I doubt I'll be running at high speed all the time, it also seemed like I used it, the less noise it made

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Some issues

2013 Equinox Parts

I installed this on my 2013 Chevy Equinox and it was a perfect fit. I don't know anything about car repairs but I was able to do it myself after watching videos online. 3 screws hold the fan and 3 screws hold the bezel/cover in place. Removing the glove box will help you see what you're doing. The OEM part has a connector built into the fan. This replacement part has a pig tail connector which I like a lot better. As others have said, this fan releases more air than the original. I did notice a

I care TOO much about the details. Summary: Choose This

Replaces a fan with unusually high resistance. This one seems capable of being taken apart if you think fixing the windings or removing lint/debris from the fan itself is an option for you. Otherwise it works very well as a replacement (also replaced the relay just in case) and pushes a lot more air than the original fan it replaced (even if the original was new it couldn't compete with this one I usually give out I've spent a long time scouring Amazon to find the best option, but if you…
