Good size coaster. These Fox Run cork coasters are a delight to use on my granite countertops in the kitchen. I try to stack them on top of each other to keep the heat off the granite slabs. They smell like mold (not cork I've ever had, I only noticed both sets I ordered because someone here complained that they smelled, it's not noticeable unless you sniff it and most people don't usually bother to notice it Serves purpose (for me I needed something to keep my Zojirushi rice cooker and kettle off the counter because the floor can be wet. How about cork coasters? Actually not much, but I can say that they do what they have to do. They protect my tables and countertops. They're durable, fairly thick, and just the right size — plus — they pack away easily. With the holidays on the way, it's nice to know I won't have to hunt up and down for more hot pads when I do try to get all dishes on the table.
