I love how easy they make eating grapefruit. They are very durable and strong. I had no problems. They also wash well and stay shiny.

thought I had lost my old ones and would have to order new ones because they are so handy for picking up melons and zucchini. After receiving them, I found older ones in a pot (understand for yourself). But I'm looking forward to more.

What do you expect? For the cheap price, you get spoons that are a little better for eating grapefruit than regular spoons. They survive washing in the dishwasher without any problems, but are not run over by the tank. Yes, you still have to dig, and yes, you will still get spatter. If you want your grapefruit cut into chunks, go to an expensive grocery store.

Many years ago I had a grapefruit spoon and I really liked it. I like to cut up a grapefruit and eat it like a bowl of soup. After it was lost I threw away the grapefruit due to splattering when using a regular spoon. I finally went online and was surprised to find it on Revain. Now I eat grapefruit every day and enjoy it more than ever!

Husband warned me about spoons. They are too big to reach grapefruit segments well. I have 2 grapefruit knives and I should have gotten more of them. Knives are much better suited to getting the most out of your grapefruit. Save your money and don't take it. They are of good quality, but just not up to the task at hand.

Disappointed overall. The spoon cuts through fruit well and gently offsets each piece, but the handle is too flimsy, flat, and sharp to be comfortable. Even with the minimal force required to dig out each chunk, I find the experience unnecessarily unpleasant. I ordered RSVP spoons instead - Ricci bamboo looks more comfortable too.

Bought these because I needed cheap grapefruit spoons not expecting to use them much after receiving a bag of grapefruit from a neighbor. They're made as cheaply as you'd expect at this price point, and one of them looked like it had a fight with a sand belt. The teeth looked cut off on one side. A grapefruit spoon is a really small 'luxury' - not necessary, but certainly useful. I have a number of different grapefruit spoons that have since been discontinued. We have a lot of grapefruits at home, so I decided to add grapefruit dishes to our arsenal. It's ok and they get the job done without flexing, but the "feel" is less strong than my regular silverware or grapefruit spoons.
