This ashtray is a piece of junk. It doesn't even deserve 1 star. When you stub out a cigarette, the hot ash forms a bubble. Now there are 20 little bubbles at the bottom. Now I have to throw it in the trash. WHAT THE SHIT!. I threw away the package it came in otherwise I would have sent it back.

So smoking isn't popular anymore and it shouldn't be. I couldn't stop just yet though and needed a good old heavy duty ashtray for the back deck (we don't smoke in the house). It's an old-fashioned kind of plastic. It's plastic so not very heavy, but it's very strong and can hold a lot of cigarette butts. Never drilled a hole in it. ABSOLUTELY junk. I have a green ashtray, a copy of it. I have had to use it for over 10 years. It's identical except for the color. I wanted a few more for the patio and garage. In less than a week of use, it bulged and burned through the plastic holes6 in the ashtray. I thought I would buy the same ones. How difficult is it to make an ashtray out of plastic. The plastic acted like I'd put a cigarette butt in a styrofoam cup. My old one said MADE in USA but this one doesn't. I'll let you guess…
